Now to be upfront here, Happy Irish Wanderers are not big trekkers. In fact, our first real experience of multi-day trekking was when traveling Tajikistan.

We took on several Tajikistan hikes during our travels, the Fann Mountains, the Pamirs, Engles Peak viewpoint to name a few. Each one more beautiful than the last.

This was the greatest Tajikistan adventure for us as we traversed alongside the Afghanistan border, ventured over high-altitude passes surrounded by jagged peaks and rushing rivers. Staying in local mountain villages along the way just added to the overall experience. What amazing memories.
