During the Troubles, a period of sectarian conflict in Northern Ireland from the late 1960s to the late 1990s, the Bogside neighborhood was a hotbed of resistance against British rule and the Protestant majority government. The murals were created by local artists and residents as a form of protest and to express their solidarity with the Irish Republican movement. And is a MUST visit in Derry.

Day 5: Derry to Belfast

- Drive to Belfast via the Giant’s Causeway and the Causeway Coastal Route, one of the best road trips in the world.
